Hopefully this will help others who might run into the same problem. check to see if you have the following files installed on your computer if you don’t you’ll need to install them for the server to install and operate correctly. the procedure entry point ucrtbase.terminate could not be located in the dynamic link api-ms-win-ctr-runtime-1-1-0.dll. The tutorial didn't seem to give an idea of what is going on, not to suggest it should have, since it didn't work for me. So having not even started programming with impact yet, I do not know if I really need to have the server bring up welmeister.html, but at least I now have a better understanding of what is happening with the server and how to use it better. To test this I temporarily moved the index.html file to another folder and when I typed Impact.local in my broswer the server did bring up the weltmeister.html file, so now I know it works. So as it is now I still can't access the weltmeister html files as is ( since in this method it seems the order in which it is situated prevents it from being accessed because index.html is listed first before weltmeister.html is. Home.php home.cgi home.asp home.shtml home.html home.htm then: Make sure, you are visiting the same port. and you are SURE that your firewall or some other app is NOT blocking Apache. And now that I have it working I understand and see the difference. If you’re using a Mac system then the path will be different. The file name is nf which is located in the folder C:\xampp\apache\conf\extra\nf. Method 1: Editing the file nf file This method for solving the error looks very simple because you need to change just a single line in a file. But deleting it from there makes no difference. The only thing that I did was copied a project into the htdocs folder. But today, when I try to run it, I get the error Problem detected: Apache Not Found! I have made no changes to any settings/directories that could have caused this error. I have been using xampp for some time with no problems.
